One of my more creative responsibilities at EquityMultiple is organizing and refreshing the “brand book,” a consolidation of design and brand assets used throughout the organization. Specifically for our website and blog, we were unsatisfied with our old set of microillustrations and wanted something that felt more recognizable, elevated, and bespoke to the brand. I created the idea of “building blocks” — simple branded elements that could be broken down and combined — to meet the need for a new set of multi-use illustrations.
